Copyright owners and ISPs share costs

The order for new legislation covering consumer notification and appeals for online infringement of copyright costs has been laid before Parliament. There are provisions that must be included in the initial obligations code about payment by copyright owners and internet service providers. Under the new legislation the costs should be born in a 75:25 ratio between copyright owners and ISPs respectively.
