O2 disclosure quibble

The Court of Appeal has partially overturned a judgment of the High Court which had ordered O2 to disclose its customers’ details in peer-to-peer file-sharing cases to one group of claimants, but not to another group. Disclosure was ordered for the second group on the grounds that it was illogical and inconsistent. An argument that disclosure would contravene data protection law was dismissed.
